Our Mission
Gym Ventures is a family of responsible kids, parents and teachers. We provide a loving and supportive environment for children of all ages to develop physical and mental awareness through gymnastics, dance, and fitness. We use these activities as a tool to inspire confidence, athleticism, and happiness in your child. At Gym Ventures, we believe in discipline through positive reinforcement and leading by example. Our passion is to nurture your child’s success in a safe, non-competitive environment, while still challenging them to be the best gymnasts, dancers, athletes and people they can be!
Our Philosophy
Our Philosophy is to help child development by building strength, balance and awareness in a creatively fun and safe environment. Gymnastics is the tool Gym Ventures uses to help develop well rounded individuals. In turn, your child will gain self confidence, discipline and physical fitness skills with the opportunity to make friendships throughout their gymnastics journey.
Our History
Gym Ventures started in April 1996 as a mobile gymnastics program that went out to preschools, day cares, after school sites, recreation centers and private schools. Over the years, the business grew from nine sites to over twenty five. Programs expanded to include Parents Night Out, summer and winter camps and birthday parties.
In 2002, Gym Ventures moved into its first facility in Pacific Beach in addition to starting a Gym Bus program for preschools and parties (this mini gym on wheels enabled us to teach at schools with limited space for extra activities. The new gym gave us a home and the bus allowed us to bring new apparatus to the schools such as rings, ladders & slides, rock climbing wall, uneven bars and much more.
In 2005, after outgrowing our space, we found a wonderful facility just a few blocks away. We moved into the 6500 square foot facility which is our current main location. This state of the art Gymnastics, Dance, and Fitness Center offers programs for kids of all ages and abilities, a family friendly environment with all the comforts of home and some new groundbreaking programs like Fitz4Kids for overweight or inactive kids. We have the highest quality staff with extensive training and certifications to ensure that your children on in the best hands possible.

Caring
Caring is who we are at Gym Ventures. We care about our customers (kids, parents, families, friends). We care about our staff. We care about our community. This is part of everything we do…it’s what makes us different to all other gymnastics programs. Every single customer is THE MOST IMPORTANT CUSTOMER. We know their names, we know their friends, we know them. They are part of our family!
Communication
Communication is what makes it possible to be the best we can be. Communication with each other (staff). Communication with our customers (kids and parents). In order to give the best possible service, be the best possible team members, and offer the best possible work environment, we need to constantly communicate with each other to make sure we have the support we need and are providing the services our customers want. Without communication, the whole system breaks down.
Consistency
Consistency is what takes us from good to great. By consistently delivering the best quality programs, services, and experiences to our customers, they know what to expect time and time again. They develop trust that Gym Ventures will always be there for them and will provide them with the highest quality staff and services.
